I am an abstract painter and ceramic artist, born and raised in Sweden. I adopted the US as my country in the mid 90’s and made my way to California and Colorado via New York.

With a love of color, my paintings are playful, spirited explorations, freely responding to the environment around me.

When working in clay I hand build sculptural, organically shaped works, often incorporating my grandmother’s intricate crochet work in my pieces.

Filtering my emotions and visual experiences, both conscious and unconscious, my creative process is intuitive, spontaneous and experimental - quietly reflecting, revisiting and altering until I reach that final YES!!
